Your assets might attack you! Are we implementing too much IT in the OT environment? Are we relying too much on IT perspectives, even within the OT environment? The OT environment is increasingly utilizing systems, information, and processes derived from IT. However, is this unilaterally beneficial?
These are some of the questions that will be addressed in Søren Egede Knudsen’s talk. The discussion will focus on the integration of IT information and systems into the OT environment and the potential problems this integration might cause, despite our best intentions. Topics to be discussed include phishing, operating systems, and embedded systems. Specifically, Søren will explore the assessment of embedded systems: Is it necessary? Additionally, the talk will cover future considerations, including potential legal requirements for embedded systems.
