International Industrial Security conference takes place in Copenhagen again

This autumn Scandinavia´s largest and still growing industrial security conference, Industrial Security Conference Copenhagen, brings together the entire industry for three intense days filled with the latest research, experiences, and networking. This year’s program is filled with leading keynotes and professionals from all around the globe.

The threat posed by malicious hackers and cyber sabotage to critical infrastructure is increasing. The purpose of the Industrial Security Conference Copenhagen is to strengthen companies’ defenses by gathering security professionals from all over the world and sharing the latest knowledge and research, so they can better defend themselves against potential attacks. The conference will take place from the 13th-15th of November 2023 and is the place to be for OT and IT security professionals. The program for 2023 has been created in collaboration with an advisory board consisting of some of the industry’s most leading and well-known IT/OT experts from around the world. The program is more ambitious than ever:

– We have set the bar very high, and we promise three exciting days without a single sales pitch and completely original keynotes. We are proud of the program and the community growing around the conference. The cyber threats are increasing and the companies´ ability to build up resilience against them are essential. The conference is now more relevant than ever” says Nina Meyer, Senior Project Manager at Insight Events.

International and industry-known profiles take the stage

The international program is packed with recognized experts in industrial security such as Dr. Emma Stewart, Research Strategist at the Idaho National Laboratory, Patrick Miller, CEO of Ampere Industrial Security, Javier Dieguez, Director of the Basque Cybersecurity Center and Krystian Rykaczewski, Senior Project Engineer and ethical hacker for Rockwell Automation, who will simulate a hacker attack and how to combat it on IoT devices at the conference in November.

Great interest and more than 50 Call for Papers

There has been massive interest in speaking at the Industrial Security Conference this year. The team and the Advisory Board have received more than 50 petitions to speak that have been carefully reviewed to the 14 presentations that make up the program this year.

– It has been difficult to choose from the many good submissions, and we had to cut the submissions down in several ways – both according to relevance, depth of technical submissions, whether the topic has been previously covered, and much more. All in all, the program turned out really well, and I hope that the many participants will have a fantastic conference. I look forward to meeting the industry in Copenhagen once again, says Vivek Ponnada, Technical Solutions Director, Nozomi Networks, and part of the 2023 advisory board.
